The SDR TPME has launched an unprecedented call for projects designed to provide the region’s tourism SMEs with strategic support, high-performance turnkey tools and investment support in the form of subsidies or investment grants. The program focuses primarily on innovative projects in the following tourism sectors: entertainment and leisure, accommodation, catering, travel agencies, tourist transport, guiding, sport and well-being. However, projects related to entertainment and leisure will be given priority.
The types of projects concerned include the following companies or future companies:
- Very small business (VSE): investment of less than MAD 3 million.
- Small business (SB): investment between 3 and less than 10 million dirhams.
- Medium-sized enterprise (ME): investment between 10 and 30 million dirhams.
Already, the program has attracted more than 4,000 people, men and women of all ages, from all the prefectures and provinces of the Souss Massa region, over a thousand of whom have expressed their willingness to take part. Thanks to their motivation, commitment and high-quality ideas, the range of projects on offer is both rich and relevant.
In view of the popularity of the program, and to give as many people as possible the opportunity to apply, the application deadline has been extended to March 30, 2023.
Further calls for projects are scheduled over the coming months to meet the growing demand from entrepreneurs, investors and tourism project leaders.
