The first vocational training cycle began on February 3, 2023, and welcomed around 100 participants. The accommodations offered by staycations are generally unusual, inspiring places or luxury hotels offering a full range of services.

Experts from the Grant Thornton/Exen Consulting/Corporate Value Advisory consortium, which is supporting SDR TPMET SM, attended several meetings to gather information on existing specifications in the tourism sector, with a view to providing support and follow-up to meet the expectations of the future entrepreneurs selected in the S.M.A.R.T. program. From January to March 2023, SDR TPMET and representatives of its partner engineering firm visited all the prefectures and provinces of the Souss Massa region: Tata, Tiznit, Taroudant, Inezgane Ait Melloul, Chtouka Aït Baha and Agadir Ida Outanane.

Following the presentation of the SDR TPMET in the different provinces, promotional caravans were organized in the tourist territories and ecosystems of the Souss Massa.
