Following the launch of the SDR TPMET SM call for projects, the S.M.A.R.T. Tourism program generated a great deal of interest, attracting over 1,190 applications from all over the Souss Massa region. Men and women, young and not-so-young, submitted their applications with high-quality ideas, resulting in a rich and relevant range of projects.

For thirteen days, the SDR TPMET team and the design office met with the shortlisted candidates. They were able to share their vision, the feasibility of their projects and the means implemented by the candidates.

This was followed by the Local Selection Commissions (CLS), which lasted 4 weeks to select the best projects.

Further calls for projects are scheduled over the coming months to meet the growing demand from entrepreneurs, investors and tourism project developers. These calls will also enable applicants who have not been selected to refine their projects, thanks to the advice that will be shared by the SDR TPMET SM team, and to reapply.
